Photography is such a gift. I'm not talking about a raw talent that you're either born with or not. I'm talking about a mutual gift for all involved. It's access to people's lives, A WAY TO CONNECT RELATIONALLY, A WAY TO INSPIRE, ENCOURAGE AND SHOW THE BEAUTY AND AMAZING MOMENTS that are in front of the camera.

I graduated from Azusa Pacific University in Northeast LA in 2004 with a Bachelor of Social Work. I went along to (un)fulfill my career in Social Work to San Diego, where I was offered a job at MAC Cosmetics.

In 2006, I was accepted into the Arizona State University graduate program and completed my Master of Social Work degree in 2007. During that time, I worked as a mental health therapist for young women with eating disorders. It was during this season of my life that dream began to unfold. I was looking for a creative way to connect with people, particularly young women. I wanted to help reveal their value, their beauty and their true worth that comes from their Creator. This hidden gem, the combination of makeup, hair styling photography and some life-giving encouragement, became THE BEGINNING OF MY DREAM.

I love being a wife. MY HUSBAND, CHANCE HAS CHANGED MY LIFE IN SO MANY WAYS. It's an incredible blessing to love someone who is your complete opposite. He is my quiet coach, my personal chef, my business head and my soft place to land. He has a perfectly fit and strong exterior (rawr), but his heart is even more fit and golden as can be… the kind of awesome that never fades.

I live and breathe because of my relationship with God. I wish I had more room, or even the right words to explain how JESUS HAS CHANGED MY LIFE and continually provides me divine strength, hope, salvation and a secure identity. I am just a tough exam away from completing a certificate in Biblical Counseling and hoping to record a worship album by the year 2082.

BECOMING A MOM HAS BEEN MY LIFE'S BIGGEST CHALLENGE AND REWARD thus far. I am passionate about training my children to love God, love people and live humbly. My 4 year old is my bold and assertive wild child. She sweet and she is crazy, and consequently is a perfect combination of those two words, SWAYZE. We welcomed our second child in May 2015, the fantastic Mr. FOX. He will be America's 2nd most photographed child, after his big sister and has completely stolen his mama's heart.
